Kitchen / Restaurant Assistant
About You
- You may have some experience working in a kitchen environment. You may be looking to develop a career or maybe you are looking for a position with less responsibility to appreciate other things in your life.
- You will assist the Head Chef in the preparation of consumables and to relieve in the absence of the Deputy Head Chef
About the Position
- Assist the Chef.
- Prepare all garnishes to accompany the main meal and sweet courses
- Prepare and serve breakfast
- Prepare the sweet courses
- Assist in the preparation of picnic lunches
- Maintain standards of food and kitchen hygiene
- Maintain standards in food preparation.
Chef De Party
About You
- You are an experienced Chef capable of leading and developing a small team to deliver good quality English food to our guests.
- You are capable of preparing, cooking and serving all consumables as required by Management whilst complying with policies on quality, quantity, food hygiene and portion control.
- You will work with the Management team to ensure that the kitchen is operating efficiently and effectively.
- You will have an essential part to contribute to our guests' enjoyment of their holiday. You will work with confidence and lead by example in the production of food and kitchen management.
- You will respond positively to the knowledge that guests have the opportunity to feedback on the quality of their food while on holiday and respond well to a results driven environment.
About the Position
- Ensure that consumables are available as required by the Management.
- Enforce kitchen, personal and food hygiene within the kitchen.
- Complete the induction of all new kitchen staff in liaison with Management.
- To control staff, providing work rotas etc.
- Prepare the main element of principal meals.
- Be responsible for the correct use of all kitchen equipment.
- To be responsible for the correct use of all food stocks issued.
- Liaise with the Management team for the smooth running of the dining room.
- Take full responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen, including the management of staff.
